D’Addario EJ24 Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings – True Medium (13-56)

Description

Unlock perfectly balanced tension and rich, resonant tone with D’Addario EJ24 Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings. Affectionately known as the “True Medium” set, the EJ24s are engineered specifically for players who demand uniform feel and projection across their entire setup, making them the gold standard for DADGAD and alternate tunings. Unlike a traditional medium gauge set, the EJ24 configuration features a slightly smaller diameter on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th strings. This custom hybrid gauging prevents the excessive stiffness and muddy tone often experienced when dropping standard strings into open tunings. Whether you are playing intricate Celtic fingerstyle, contemporary folk, or driving rock rhythm, these strings provide exceptional intonation and a highly responsive feel. Crafted in the USA, D’Addario’s legendary Phosphor Bronze alloy is precision-wound over a hexagonally shaped, high-carbon steel core. The result is a long-lasting, warm, and bright acoustic tone that handles heavy strumming and delicate flat-picking with equal brilliance. Why Choose D’Addario EJ24 True Mediums? Optimized for Alternate Tunings: Specifically gauged to deliver ideal tension and tone in DADGAD and other open drop tunings. True Medium Tension: Modified middle strings offer a more balanced, comfortable fretting feel than standard heavy or medium sets. Signature Phosphor Bronze Tone: Delivers the perfect blend of warmth, clarity, and projection. Corrosion-Resistant Packaging: Sealed in environmentally friendly packaging to guarantee your strings stay fresh until you’re ready to string up.
