Disney Big-Note Collection – Easy Piano Songbook (Hal Leonard)

Description

The Disney Big-Note Collection is a large-format songbook designed for pianists who are still developing reading skills but want to play familiar Disney songs. With 192 pages of material, this is one of the more complete Disney collections available at the big-note level. Big-note notation uses larger note heads and simplified rhythms, making it easier for students who aren’t yet comfortable with dense staff reading. The arrangements also include melody, lyrics, and chord symbols, which helps connect reading with singing and basic chord awareness. This book is often used for: Late beginner to early intermediate students Students transitioning out of method books into recognizable songs Younger players who benefit from larger, easier-to-read notation Families looking for a wide variety of Disney music in one book The arrangements are simplified but still recognizable, so students can focus on steady rhythm and note reading without getting overwhelmed. With nearly 40 songs, it’s also a practical option if you want a single book that will last through multiple months of lessons or practice at home. If your student is not quite ready for full piano/vocal arrangements but wants Disney music, this is typically the right place to start.
