Disney Delights – Five-Finger Piano Songbook (Hal Leonard)

Description

Disney Delights is a five-finger piano collection designed for early beginners who want to start playing recognizable Disney songs right away. Arranged in Hal Leonard’s Five-Finger Piano format, each piece keeps both hands in a fixed position, making it accessible for students at the very beginning stages of reading. This level typically works for students in their first method book or just after. The arrangements avoid large hand shifts and complex rhythms, allowing players to focus on note recognition, steady timing, and basic coordination. Teachers often use this book to: Introduce familiar songs alongside method material Reinforce reading in a controlled hand position Keep younger students engaged with recognizable music Provide simple recital or home performance pieces Songs like Beauty and the Beast, A Whole New World, and Hakuna Matata are simplified to fit the five-finger format while still sounding close enough to the original melodies to keep students interested. This book is a good fit for: Primer-level students (SMP Primer / Early Elementary) Young beginners who need simple, structured arrangements Students who aren’t ready for full easy piano notation Families looking for approachable Disney material early on If your student is still working within a five-finger position in their lesson book, this collection will line up well with what they’re learning.
